Barrier 80 S

Barrier 80 S is a high-solids epoxy primer with 80% zinc dust for severe corrosive environments. Barrier 80 S’s high levels of zinc dust provides excellent corrosion protection when used as part of a complete coating system where extended durability is required. It is ideal as a primer in atmospheric environments, and can be used on carbon steel, for repair of inorganic zinc silicate coatings and on damaged galvanised steel substrates. Barrier 80 S complies with ASTM D520 type II zinc dust. It is recommended for refineries, power plants, bridges, buildings and on structural steel and piping exposed in corrosivity categories up to C5 VH (ISO 12944-2).
